The YMCA of South Alabama will host an adults-only evening of dinner, drinks, bingo and prizes Nov. 6 in Daphne to raise money for its financial assistance program, which helps local children and families participate in YMCA programs regardless of their ability to pay.
The event, called “Good Times for a Good Cause,” will begin at 6 p.m. at Moe’s Original BBQ, located upstairs at the Daphne restaurant. The evening will feature bingo games led by local personalities, elected officials and community leaders serving as guest callers.
The YMCA’s financial assistance program provides more than $200,000 annually to help children, individuals and families access YMCA memberships and programs. Proceeds from the fundraiser will support those efforts, helping more community members belong, participate and thrive.
Several ticket options are available. General admission costs $50 per person and includes dinner, two adult beverage tickets and one bingo card for each round.
A date night package costs $125 and includes two general admission tickets, childcare for one child at the Bounds Family YMCA and dinner for the child. Additional children can attend for $15 each, with dinner included.
Groups can purchase a table for six for $300. The package includes dinner, two adult beverage tickets and one bingo card per round for each of the six guests.
Seating is limited, and early registration is encouraged. Sponsorship opportunities also are available. Businesses and individuals interested in sponsoring the event can contact Marissa Rennaker, vice president of development and strategic initiatives for the YMCA of South Alabama, at mrennaker@ysal.org or (215) 581-2232.
