Workshop to guide aspiring entrepreneurs through 'Starting a Business in Baldwin County'

Entrepreneurs considering launching a business in Baldwin County will have an opportunity to learn the essentials during an in-person workshop set for Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce in Robertsdale.

The “Starting a Business in Baldwin County” workshop will take place at the chamber’s office at 23150 State Hwy 59 and is open to entrepreneurs of all ages, from millennials to encore business owners. The session is designed for individuals in the early planning stages as well as those seeking clarity on the legal and financial steps required to operate a business in Alabama.

Topics will include forming an LLC, obtaining required business licenses, understanding tax responsibilities, exploring financing options and identifying resources available to help businesses start and grow. The workshop is structured as an open, forthcoming discussion aimed at providing practical guidance tailored to Baldwin County.

The workshop is provided by the Alabama Small Business Development Center in partnership with the Baldwin County office and the Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce.
