Mr. and Mrs. Wayland Kennedy Woodson of Daphne announce the engagement of their daughter, Jane Elizabeth Stuart Woodson, to Thomas Kells Tindell of Mobile.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Doris Stuart Brantley of Bay Minette and the late Emory Russell Brantley of Foley, Mrs. George Wayland Woodson and the late Mr. George Wayland Woodson of Bay Minette.

She is a graduate of T.R. Miller High School and a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in secondary education/English language arts.

While at Birmingham-Southern College she was a member of the Kappa Delta sorority.

In 2006, Woodson earned a master’s in media and library science from the University of Alabama. She is currently employed with the Baldwin County School System as a media specialist.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Jewell Adcock Sconyers and the late Jack Holmes Sconyers, and Dr. Rollins Lynne Tindell and the late Margaret Peacock Tindell, all of Dothan.

He is a graduate of St. Paul’s Episcopal School in Mobile and he attended the University of Alabama. He is a Realtor with Smith Realty.

The couple will exchange vows in June at Dauphin Way United Methodist Church in Mobile.
