The results are in for the Downtown Foley 2023 Window Decorating Contest.

In a closely contested people's choice vote, Soul Bowlz narrowly edged out Gypsy Queens Java.

Warren Averett claimed the clear first place, excelling in family-friendly themes, lighting, presentation, and creativity. Gypsy Queens Java secured a close second place after the judges' combined tally.

Judging was challenging, with many entries showcasing different strengths. The judges of the contest included Debbie Williams of WKRG Channel Five, Fran Thompson of the Mullet Wrapper, and J.P. Swiger of Swiger Studios.

Foley Main Street, the organizer of the contest, extends special thanks to all participating businesses and individuals who contributed to the festive atmosphere of downtown Foley. According to the organization, the participants’ collective efforts enhance the city's reputation, evoking a Hallmark setting. The organization would further like to express gratitude to everyone who voted for their favorites and demonstrated support for the local businesses.
