Wine Tastings with Winston return this fall at Tacky Jacks

Posted

Tacky Jacks is bringing back its Wine Tastings with Winston series this fall, giving wine enthusiasts and curious newcomers an opportunity to sample wines from around the world while enjoying waterfront views at its Gulf Shores and Orange Beach locations.

The tasting series will feature four paired courses for $45 per person, with each event focusing on wines from a different region. The tastings will be led by Winston with Alabama Crown and will explore the flavor profiles, origins and stories behind each selection.

Guests can settle into Tacky Jacks’ outdoor waterfront seating for an evening that combines wine, food and education with the laid-back atmosphere of Alabama’s Gulf Coast.

The 2026 series will begin in October with Pacific Northwest Pairings. The Orange Beach location will host its tasting Oct. 13, followed by the Gulf Shores location Oct. 15. The tasting will explore wines from the Pacific Northwest and the characteristics that distinguish the region as a wine-growing area.

November will take guests to Italy with Tuscany Pairings. The Orange Beach tasting is scheduled for Nov. 17, with the Gulf Shores tasting following Nov. 20. The events will feature wines and flavors inspired by Tuscany.

The series will conclude in December with South Africa Pairings. Tacky Jacks Orange Beach will host the event Dec. 8, followed by Tacky Jacks Gulf Shores Dec. 11. The final tastings of the year will explore the diverse flavors and characteristics of South African wines.

Reservations are required because seating is limited. Guests must make advance reservations at www.tackyjacks.com. A $5-per-person reservation fee will be applied toward the $45 tasting cost. Reservation refunds are available with at least 24 hours’ notice.
