BAY MINETTE, Ala. - Holden Wilson rushed for 119 yards and scored three times to lead visiting Gulf Shores to a wild 57-31 win over Baldwin County High Friday night at Bay Minette's Lyle Underwood Stadium.

Wilson led a Dolphin rushing attack that netted 337 yards on the night. He scored on runs of 43, 19, and 11 yards.

Parker Mason added scoring runs of 44 and four yards, Nathan Harris had a one-yard score, and tackle Conner Gilbert rambled 33 yards for the other GSHS offensive touchdown. Clayton Moore fell on bad punt snap in the Tiger end zone for the final Dolphin score.

Baldwin County had 416 yards of total offense but four fumbles lost and an interception spelled doom for them. Tiger QB Andre Davis did throw for 320 yards and four touchdowns on the night (13 of 23) while also rushing for 50 yards on 12 carries.

Harris hit 5-of-11 aerials for Coach Ben Blackmon's Dolphins for 56 yards. He also had surrendered an interception.

David Nelson converted on seven of seven point afters for Gulf Shores (they added a two point conversion on the other touchdown) while Tiger kicker David Bain was four of four on PATs while adding a 39 yard field goal.

Harris opened the scoring with a one-yard run midway through the opening quarter but Davis came back to connect with T.Q. Adams for a 85-yard scoring play to cut the lead to 8-7. Adams had three touchdown catches in the game for Coach Bobby Moore's Tigers (0-5).

Offensive tackle Gilbert then got loose on a trick play to score from 33 yards out to make it 15-7 GSHS but again BCHS came back to score on a Davis to Jaquan Finch 31 yard TD pass.

A 43 yard Wilson TD run and a 44-yarder from Mason made it 29-14 at intermission.

Mason opened the second half scoring with a four-yard touchdown run before Bain's 39 yard field goal made it 36-17.

A 19-yard Wilson scoring ramble and a 11-yard TD run made it 50-17 before Davis hit Adams on a 50-yard TD. The bad snap score for the Dolphins, now 3-2, closed out the visitors' scoring and a Davis to Adams four-yard TD pass finished the Tiger scoring.

Gulf Shores is at Vigor next Friday while BCHS goes to Foley that same evening.
