Clifford Blakney Wilson, 86, a native of Kentucky and resident of Fairhope, died Monday, July 21, 2008 at a local hospital.
He was a World War II Veteran, a member of the VFW, and Motion Picture Variety Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Essie Mable Grey Wilson, son, Bruce E. Wilson, and brother, Ernest Eugene Wilson.
Survivors include two sons: David A. (Dayra) Wilson of Mobile and Dane A. (Sandy) Wilson of Trenton, Fla.; two daughters, Deborah A. (Angelo B.) Trione of Daphne and Danielle A. (Todd) Gardner of Fairhope; seven grandchildren, Clifford and Shannon Wilson, Robert David Wilson, Heather Blair and Blakney Joseph Coppels, Christopher Brandon and Sabrina Cherie’ Strange; one great grandchild, Alexis Renee Wilson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Tuesday, July 22 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope.
Services will be held at Hollywood Cemetery in Jackson, Tenn., at a later date.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
