Georgia Smith Dyess Wilson, 89, a native of Farmerville, and a resident of Rosinton, died Jan. 7, 2010.
She married Roy Elijah Dyess, Dec. 24, 1935 in Butler County and they had seven children. He died Nov. 26, 1983. She married Arnold T. Wilson, April 6, 1991. He died Dec. 24, 2006.
Survivors include a son, Roy E. Dyess of Rosinton; six daughters, Barbara Drasko of Crestview, Fla., Shirley Turberville of Loxley, Bernice Darby of Rosinton, Sue Darby of Fairhope, Joy Baggett of Camden and Charlotte Steadham of Robertsdale; sister, Claire Bell Beverly of Greenville; 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9 from the chapel of Mack Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Dyess Cemetery, Rosinton.
