William Charles Willoughby, 77, a native of Scottsbluff, Neb., and a resident of Huntsville, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, in Orange Beach.
He was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Huntsville. He was a registered professional engineer in both the Panama Canal Zone and Alabama. He retired from The Army Missile Command at Redstone Arsenal.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Edwards Willoughby of Huntsville; two sons, Frederick William Willoughby of Georgetown, Texas, and Steven Russell Willoughby of Montgomery; daughter, Susan Willoughby Wagner of Huntsville; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Huntsville.
