William Stacy “Billy” Brantley, 90, a native of Daphne and resident of Fairhope, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013.
Billy was a member of the Fairhope Elks Lodge and a World War II veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife and sweetheart, Theresa Brantley; daughter, Charleen Brantley Doyle; and a grandson, Jeremy Lee Brantley.
He is survived by a son, Mike (Donna) Brantley of Greensboro, N.C.; grandchildren, Thomas (Leslie) Doyle of Mobile, Kimberly D. (Daniel) Starling of Fairhope, Jessie (Renee) Brantley of Harrodsburg, Ky., Paul (Christi) of Fairhope, Jonathan (Chelsie) Brantley of Mobile, Jacob Doyle of Nashville, Tenn., Chase Horner of Harrodburg, Ky. and Brandi (Coy) Clendenin of Greensboro, N.C.; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Bert Brantley of Gulf Shores and Russell (Sonny) Brantley of Fairhope; nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and close neighbors.
The family will receive friends at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope, Thursday, May 9, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held from St. Lawrence Church Friday, May 10, 2013, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Belforest Catholic Cemetery.
