William “Eddie” Waters, age 86, a resident of Foley, Alabama, passed away Jan. 10, 2022.
William was a member of Genesis Church, U. S. Army Veteran, lifetime member of the American Legion, VFW 5658 and State Chaplain of the VFW. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed by all that knew him.
Mr. Waters was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary, Freddie, Larry, Buford Waters, and sisters, Velma Thames and Paulette Comstock.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Ann Waters of Foley; four sons, Victor E. (Billie Jo) Waters of Pensacola, Florida, Greg (Denise) Waters of Summerdale, Alabama, Wayne Waters of Foley, Alabama, Bruce Waters of Elberta, seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Winston Waters of Robertsdale, Alabama, Dewitt Waters of Stapleton, Alabama, Buddy Waters of Silverhill, Alabama; sisters, Jeanette Meader of Foley, Jeniece Bouzan of Silverhill, Alabama, Linda Johnson of Summerdale, Alabama and Carolyn Waters of Robertsdale, Alabama, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services were held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, Friday, Jan.14, 2022 at 10 a.m.
Family received friends one hour prior to service time.
Interment followed at Elberta Public Cemetery.
