William Bruce Hall Sr., 73, a native of Clarksdale, Miss. and resident of Foley, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013.
Billy was a member of the Foley United Methodist Church, an avid coin and stamp collector and enjoyed working on his family genealogy.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen F. Hall of Foley; daughter, Tamara Hall Valdez of Foley; two sons, William Bruce Hall Jr. of Chickasaw and Fredrick C. Hall of Foley; two stepdaughters, Lisa Ehrie Lynn of Jacksonville, Fla. and Dena S. Ehrie of Foley; two sisters, Kaye Tindal and Renee Nelson, both of Foley; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at 2 p.m., at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
A private interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Habitat For Humanity or the Wounded Warrior Project.
