William Alfred Ross Jr., 70, a native of Chicago, former resident of Koontz Lake, Ind., and resident of Foley, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011.
He was a bush pilot of Kodiak Island, Alaska. He retired as the owner of Ross Engineering in Walkerton, Indiana and relocated to Foley.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Philpott Ross; father, William Alfred Ross Sr.; two brothers, Charles Jensen and Russel Jensen; and son, Dennis Klinedinst.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Skiles Ross of Foley; five sons, Brett (Steffanie) Ross of Arizona, Chris Reynolds and Scott Reynolds, both of Alaska, William (Rayna) Reynolds of Colorado, and David (Cheryl) Klinedinst of Indiana; daughter, Davina (Gary) Barbknecht of Indiana; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are by Pine Rest Funeral Home Inc., Foley.
