Betty K. Willette, 90, a native of Buffalo N.Y., a longtime resident of Rochester, N.Y., and Deland, Fla., died Wednesday July 18, 2007 at a local nursing home.
Throughout her long life, she was an avid and accomplished bridge player, volunteer, and world traveler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, G. James Willette, and a granddaughter, Kristina Willette.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan Laird of Hadley, Mass.; two sons, David Willette of Fairhope and Douglas Willette of Seneca, S.C.; brother, George Varcoe of Flagler Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Private arrangements are being made by the family.
