Frank Edward "Pete" Wiggins, 82, a native of Tensaw, a former resident of Deatsville and a resident of Fairhope, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008.
He was a longtime employee for the City of Fairhope Water Works; in Greenville water and sewe; Goodwin & Mills Engineering in Montgomery ; he was a supervisor at CDG Engineering in Andalusia; a former volunteer fire chief for the City of Fairhope; and he was a member of the Greeno Masonic Lodge No. 22 in Fairhope for over 50 years and was a member of the Scottish Rites.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Allie Mae Palmer and Bernice Chandler. and three brothers, George Wiggins, Louis Wiggins and Ira Wiggins.
Survivors include his wife, Roby Wiggins of Deatsville; two daughters, Margaret (Billy) Morrison and Delores (Ed) Lund of Fairhope; son, Charles Wiggins of Fairhope; brother, Dan Wiggins of Graham, N.C.; six grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 18 at Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale. Burial will follow at Marshall Memory Gardens in Albertville.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
