The Alabama chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) awarded White-Spunner Construction (WSC) with three prestigious safety awards this year: a Safest in the Industry award (Gold Level), an Innovation in Safety award and a Safety, Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) award (Platinum Level).

The honors were presented to WSC's Safety Technician, Pamela Cantrelle, at the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum in Leeds, Alabama. ABC's Safe Day Awards are meant to showcase Alabama companies that have superior health and safety procedures and exceptional safety initiatives.

Specifically, the STEP certification serves as a tool for measuring safety performance against local competitors.

Safety Technician Pamela Cantrelle said, "It's a privilege to be honored for our company's exceptional safety programs. White-Spunner Construction works passionately to cultivate an environment that promotes safe practices and program compliance. We couldn't do it without support from our whole team of employees and subcontractors."

White-Spunner Construction is a certified Grade A contractor by ISNetworld and has an Experience Modification Rating (EMR) of 0.80, which is well below the industry average.

The company works diligently to foster and maintain a culture in which safety, quality and production are key. For more information about projects, capabilities or careers, visit White-Spunner.com.
