Eula Voncile Digmon White, born Oct. 6, 1928, died, Thursday, March 11, 2010.

She retired as a switchboard operator at the Baldwin County Courthouse; supported her husbands and daughters activities; was a Girl Scout leader; Sunday School Teacher; Women’s Leader, L.P.N. and was a true servant of Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death within two weeks by her husband of 64 years, Thomas White; her parents, Maude and James Digmon; and siblings, Lillian Houston, Gertrude Ahern, Dorothy Leroy, Ruth Digmon, James Digmon Jr. and Joe Digmon.

Survivors include three daughters, Sheila (Larry) Steiner of Mobile; Sharon (George) Blais and Kay (Randy) McDill, both of Bay Minette; eight grandchildren, Ashley Steiner Kelly, Wes Steiner, Les Steiner, George Blais, III, Thomas Blais, Sheree Blais, Benji McDill and April McDill Todd; six great-grandchildren; brother, Ray Digmon of Atmore; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 13 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with George Blais, Randy McDill, Larry Steiner, Mark Digmon and Mike Digmon officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Wes Steiner, Les Steiner, George Blais III, Thomas Blais, Benji McDill, Jim Kelly, Jeremy Todd and Ty Smithwick. Honorary pallbearers were the caregivers at Oakwood Community Hospice.

Arrangements are by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
