Congratulations to the 2007 Geography Bee classroom winners: Christian Parke, Nina Rye-Clarke, Megan Glynn, Scarlett Crouch, Benjamin Lin, Eli Moran, Helen Henry, Mae Lyle, Peyton Galich, Sabrina Hare, Claudia Barrow, Lola Mahner and Christopher Walding. These students will represent their class at the school Geography Bee this Monday, Dec. 17 at 9 a.m.
Fourth grade is going to the Exploreum on Dec. 18. They are excited that they will be visiting the Grossology exhibit.
We are pleased to announce we will again offer Math Boosters in January to our students. This is a free, afterschool activity designed to provide an extra boost of math practice to strengthen math skills. This activity will be offered for one hour a week from 3 to 4 p.m.
Fourth grade Math Boosters will meet on Tuesdays; fifth-graders will meet on Thursdays. All students will be dismissed at 4 p.m at the car line.
To enroll your child, please complete the application that was sent home this week.
Math Boosters will begin the week after we return from Christmas Break. Fourth-graders will begin on Jan. 8; fifth-graders will begin Jan. 10.
Mrs. Cynthia Riley, Mrs. Linda Loper and Mrs. Kathy Smith will be our teachers again this year.
