Everyone is excited to be back at school after our long Christmas break.

The eighth-graders are preparing to receive the sacrament of Confirmation. Archbishop Lipscomb will be here on Tuesday, April 8 to confer the sacrament. In the meantime, students are studying hard and deciding on sponsors for this important sacrament.

We would like to welcome Mrs. Colleen Ebensperger, known as Mrs. E to her students. Mrs. Ebensperger will be teaching eighth-grade literature, reading, writing and religion.

Also, 3B has a new assistant teacher, Mrs. Lisa Wiese. We are happy to have you as part of our CKCS family.

Students in fifth through eighth grades participated in their classroom Geography Bee in December. The winners from each class are Clark Wortham, 5A; Rachael Favret, 5B; Jay Howen, 6A; Walker Mims, 6B; Morgan Davis, 7A; Will Anderson, 7B; Walsh Millette, 8A; and Gregory Stone, 8B.

These students competed in the school-wide Geography Bee Tuesday.
