Bobby Charles Webb, 72, born in Sebastopol, Miss., a native of Walnut Grove, Miss., died Friday, July 4, 2008 from complications of Louie Body Dementia at home in Daphne.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Allen Webb of Walnut Grove, Miss.

He received a forestry degree from Mississippi State University and worked for International Paper for 38 years.

He worked as a forester in Brandon, Kosciusko, Brookhaven, and Canton, Miss., then Monroeville and retired at the Mobile mill as manager of Logging and Fiber Supply. He served in the Air Force National Guard in Meridian, Miss., from 1957-1965.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Ramsay Webb of Daphne; two daughters, Melanie (Jerry) Warrington of Zachary, La., and Debbie (Rob) Mason of Daphne; and three grandchildren, Matthew Warrington, Ramsay Mason and Jonathan Mason; his 103-year-old mother, Lurline Phillips Webb of Carthage, Miss.; brother, Silas Gene (Betty) Webb of Walnut Grove, Miss.; sister, Helen (Frank) Thomas of Carthage, Miss.; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Monday, July 7 at Eastern Shore Presbyterian Church, 23050 U.S. Highway 98, Fairhope. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. from the church sanctuary with Dr. Paul Fowler officiating. Burial will follow at Jubilee Memorial Gardens, Daphne.

The family requests memorial donations be made to Eastern Shore Presbyterian Church Building Fund or Missions Fund.
