GULF SHORES, AL – A sneak peek of the new Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo location was postponed from Dec. 4 because of stormy weather, but officials have rescheduled the event for Dec. 11.

Join employees and friends of the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo for this special Sneak Peak occasion on Sunday, Dec. 11 from 2-5 p.m. The new location is at 20499 Oak Road E., or County Road 6, in Gulf Shores.

The Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo announced plans to move the zoo to higher and safer ground. The new zoo location is soon to change into a full-time construction zone. Now is your chance to see the new zoo grounds before the construction begins.

Take a short tour of the property, participate in arts and crafts, capture a photo with Mrs. Claus and Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo animals, see our Angel Tree and enjoy holiday treats.

Zoo Board Members and zoo employees will be on site to showcase the new zoo plans, lead property tours and answer questions on how you can help. This event is free of charge. The public is welcome.
