Wayde Franklin Thompson Sr., 60, born in Bay Minette and a resident of Stapleton, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2013 at his residence.
He was a painter at Dental-Ez.
He is survived by his wife, Katie Boyington Thompson of Stapleton; one son, Wayde Franklin Thompson Jr. of Stapleton; one daughter, Kristen Nichole Thompson of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; stepdaughter, Lynda Hayles of Pine Grove; his mother, F.L. Thompson of Stapleton; one brother, Norman “Peewee” (Diane) Thomson of Pine Grove; and two sisters, Donna Thompson (Tim) Barac of Phillipsville and Kathie Thompson (Larry) Moore of Stapleton.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at 11 a.m., at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home in Bay Minette, with the Rev. Dewitt Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, from 6 until 9 p.m., at Norris Funeral Home.
