Frank M. Watson, 76, a native of Sanford and a resident of Daphne for the past 50 years, died Friday, July 20, 2007.

He was a devoted member of Jubilee Baptist Church, as well as the Masonic Lodge.  He was an avid HAM Radio operator (Call Sign, KB4FX), “Jack of all Trades,” with a great love of the outdoors.

He served his community for over 20 years as Daphne’s first building inspector.

Survivors include his loving wife, Juanita Hutchens Watson of Daphne; three daughters, Helen Watson of Daphne, Michele Watson of Daphne and Lisa (Ed) Strickler of Spanish Fort; grandson, Noah Strickler; two brothers, Junior Watson of Andalusia and Jim (Sarah) Watson of Mobile; sister, Janette Howell of Andalusia, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held beginning at 9:30 a.m., followed by graveside services and interment at 10 a.m. Monday, July 23 at Daphne Baptist Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Daphne.
