Dewitt Waters Jr., a native of South Carolina and a resident of Spanish Fort, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2008 in Mobile.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and attended Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta L. Waters of Spanish Fort; three children, Timothy Vann Waters of Iva, S.C., Mona Ray Waters of Plum Branch, S.C., and Phillip Wayne Waters of Abbeville, S.C.; brother, Rayford C. Waters of Calhoun Falls, S.C.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Ecumenical Ministries, Fairhope.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Daphne.
