Howard Burton Walters, 89, a resident of Gulf Shores, died Wednesday, April 22, 2009.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gulf Shores.
The family expresses sincere appreciation to the church family at First Baptist Church of Gulf Shores for their loving care of Mr. and Mrs. Walters over these past several years.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Marion K. Walters; two sons, Kenneth Walters of Birmingham and David (Rhonda) Walters of Anniston; daughter, Kathryn (Roger) W. Dutremble of Pensacola, Fla.; various nieces and nephews who reside in the southeast.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. with a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 25 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley.
