Vonda Kay Cook Hollingsworth, 48, a native and resident of Bay Minette, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013 at her residence.
She worked in the Human Resources Department at Thomas Hospital.
She is survived by her children, Damon Jade Hollingsworth and Holly Caton Hollingsworth, both of Bay Minette; her mother and stepfather, Ella and B.B. Gilbert of Bay Minette; a brother, Robert Daniel Cook III of Bay Minette; a sister, Darla Jean Cook Jones of Stapleton; nieces and nephews, Jesse Southworth Jr., Kyle Cook, Brittany Cook, Alease Peacock and Alexis Cook; special friends, Pat Godwin, Julie Clemmons and Lisa McCombs; and her pet dog, Eddie.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Daniel Cook Jr.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at 11 a.m., at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home, with the Rev. Wendell Hadley officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in Dyas.
The family will receive friends Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, from 6 until 9 p.m., at Norris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Robert Cook, Kyle Cook, Jesse Southworth, Rickey Hollingsworth, Jim Hollingsworth and Billy Hollingsworth.
