Voncile Mothershed Weekley, age 90, a native and resident of Bay Minette, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 at Baptist Manor in Pensacola. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, James Roy (Terri) Weekley of Cullman, Ala., and Gregory Lamar (Lorie) Weekley of Cantonment, Fla; five grandchildren, Shea Weekley, Anna Claire Weekley, Jay Weekley, Jaime Perry and Josh Weekley and four great-grandchildren, Brianna Weekley, Savannah Perry, Isaiah Perry and Noah Perry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaspard Leroy Weekley and three brothers, Lamar Mothershed, Pete Mothershed and Ted Mothershed. The funeral service will be held Friday, Jan. 18, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Lutz and the Rev. Dale Hollingsworth officiating. Burial will follow at Perdido Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013 from 6p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.
