GULF SHORES, Ala. — The Parks and Recreation Department of the city of Gulf Shores is hosting the Alabama High School Athletic Association Track Meet May 1-2 at the Gulf Shores Sportsplex on County Road 6.
Individuals are asked to volunteer to assist in various areas at the track meet.
Areas in which to volunteer include working on the field assisting the event judges, assisting in the Hospitality Room, passing out information packets, assisting in the concession stand, as filling in where needed.
Give a few hours of personal time to help this two-day event showcase statewide athletics.
Please call the front desk at the Bodenhamer Center at 968-4420 and ask to have your name put on the list.

The “Mommy and Me” swim class for infants with the parent begins May 12.
Class dates are May 12, 14, 19 and 21.
Ages include six to four years old. Class lasts about one hour. Please call Brooke Monroe at 968-1427 for information.
Several places in the 2009 Dolphin Summer Camp are available.
