Virginia Lee Gentry, age 93, a native of Jefferson County and a resident of Daphne, passed away Thursday December 17th, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ora Tillman Hall and Truma Young Hall, brother Ora Tillman Hall Jr., and her beloved husband, John D. Gentry Jr. Virginia, better known to family, loved ones, and friends as Nana; was truly devoted to serving and loving well, as God Loves her. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Leon) Cobb of Slocomb, Alabama., Kara Jan (Tim) Cudd of Daphne, Alabama, Susanne (Landrum) Leavell of Denton, Texas; six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandson, sister-in-law, Cheryl Hall and many other loving relatives and friends. There will be a private graveside celebration service Monday afternoon December 21st, 2020 with Dr. Landrum P. Leavell III and Daniel Workman officiating. Interment will be at Jubilee Memorial Gardens.
