Vintis Vandeventer Day, 94 years of age, a native of London, Ky and a resident of Foley, died Dec. 26, 2012 in Foley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kellis H. Day; one son, Dennis N. Day; one grandson, Timothy Paul Day; two brothers, Wilburn Vandeventer & Curtis Vandeventer; and three sisters, Gladys Day, Jewel Campbell, and Juanita Vandeventer. Survivors include two sons, Bennie R. Day, Foley, and Kellis Dewayne Day, San Jose, Calif; one daughter, Sharon Kibbey, Connersville, Ind; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren; one brother, Eugene Vandeventer, Concord, N.C; three sisters, Geneva Farthing, Hamilton, Ohio, Lois Webb, Hamilton, Ohio, and Lorene Hopper, London, Ky. Services will be held Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 from The Chapel of Wolf-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley. The family will receive friends at 9 a.m. until time of service.
