Vida Jean Teeter, 75, a native of Clare, Mich. and resident of Loxley, went to be with our Lord May 7, 2011.
She was born to the late Clayton and Daisy Barber, Nov. 6, 1935, in Clare, Mich. She leaves beautiful and loving memories to her devoted husband, James Teeter. They were married Aug. 2, 1952, and they lived together in Loxley.
Jean was a homemaker, retired nurse, accomplished seamstress and enjoyed working with her plants, her expertise in all of these areas was enjoyed by family and friends alike. She was also an active member of Austin Road Community Church, in Daphne.
She is survived by her husband, James Teeter of Loxley, two daughters, Anita Allen of Daphne, and Kathy Sturgis of Loxley, as well as three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and brother, Ford Barber.
All who wish to honor her memory may attend a Memorial Service at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 29th, 2011 at Austin Road Community Church, 10526 County Road 64, Daphne.
