USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park welcomes new Crewmates for 2024-2025

The USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park proudly announces the appointment of its 2024-2025 USS ALABAMA Crewmates. This year's esteemed representatives are as follows:

  • Camille Bailey, 19, a freshman majoring in Nursing at Coastal Alabama Community College. She is the daughter of Donald and Jennifer Bailey.
  • Ella Cranton, 19, a sophomore majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Bishop State Community College. She is the daughter of Christopher and Michelle Cranton.
  • Alexandria Lopez, 19, a freshman majoring in Pre-Health Biology at the University of Mobile. She is the daughter of Michael and Lisa Lopez.
  • Kinsey Otzenberger, 19, a freshman majoring in Communications at the University of Mobile. She is the daughter of Timothy and Kim Otzenberger.
  • Mackenzie Rowe, 20, a sophomore majoring in Speech and Hearing Sciences at the University of South Alabama. She is the daughter of Michael and Jennifer Rowe.
  • Annalise Wright, 19, a freshman majoring in Business at the University of South Alabama. She is the daughter of Donald and Jessica Wright.

Each USS ALABAMA Crewmate will receive a $2,000 scholarship for their academic pursuits. Additionally, at the conclusion of their service year, Miss USS ALABAMA and Miss USS DRUM will be honored, with the former receiving an extra $1,000 scholarship and the latter, $500.

The USS ALABAMA Crewmate program, established in 1967, serves as an ambassadorship for the USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park. These young women will represent the park at various local and state events. Over 300 young women have had the privilege of serving as USS ALABAMA Crewmates to date.
