USA Health CEO Dr. Natalie Fox and trauma surgeon Dr. Ashley Williams Hogue will headline the next USA by the Bay Speaker Series event on Thursday, June 11, at the Performance Center on the University of South Alabama campus in Fairhope.

The presentation, "Inspiring Communities, Transforming Healthcare," is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 111 St. James St.

The speakers will discuss access to specialty healthcare in Baldwin County while highlighting USA Health's expansion efforts, outreach programs and impact on rural communities.

The event is free and open to the public. A reception will follow the presentation. Seating is limited and online registration is required at https://connect.southalabama.edu/e/usa-by-the-bay-dr-fox-dr-williams/. For more information, email specialevents@southalabama.edu.

Fox, a three-time graduate of the University of South Alabama College of Nursing, was named CEO of USA Health in October 2025. Since joining USA Health in 2011, she has served in several leadership roles across the organization.

Most recently, Fox oversaw strategy, performance and operations for the USA Health physician enterprise, a network that includes more than 700 physicians, advanced practice providers, residents and fellows. As assistant administrator and chief nursing officer for the USA Health Physicians Group, she led initiatives aimed at improving population health and reducing barriers to care.

Her leadership at USA Health has included efforts to advance community healthcare services, navigate operational challenges and maintain high-quality patient care across the health system.

Williams Hogue serves as a trauma, acute care and burn surgeon at USA Health and is an assistant professor of surgery at the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine.

Since 2023, she has served as director of the Center for Healthy Communities, where she focuses on addressing the root causes of health inequalities in Mobile, particularly in areas where access to healthcare remains limited.

Among the initiatives she leads is Project Inspire, a hospital-based injury prevention program she co-founded with her husband, Dr. Antwan Hogue. The program works to reduce youth violence in the Mobile area through gun violence prevention efforts and support services for at-risk youth. Organizers said the program has shown promising results in helping young people find new opportunities and pathways to success.
