GULF SHORES, Ala. -  Two Gulf Shores Dolphins signed to play college football on National Signing Day, Dec. 15.

Tavaris Elston signed to play football at Texas Tech University. Rodney Taylor, Jr. signed to play football at Kennesaw State. Gulf Shores head football coach Mark Hudspeth said both players excelled on and off the field and represented GSHS and their entire community well.

“We are really proud of these two young men and excited about the future direction they are headed,” he said. “We are going to miss them but look forward to what they are going to accomplish. It really is a monumental day in their lives. They both had an incredible season for us. And they have grown a lot as players and as young men.”
