Anna Laura Caylor Turberville, 75, a native of Uriah and a resident of Bay Minette, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007 at North Baldwin Hospital.
She was a retired seamstress with B.C. Moore’s. She also worked at Mannor Slacks, Vanity Fair and did alterations for the public.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Clifton Turberville; a son Clifton Eugene Turberville; and brother Cecil Caylor.
Survivors include three children, Larry Clyde (Rebecca) Turberville of Demopolis, Laura Diane (Stan) Aaron of Pine Grove and Wanda Gayle (Aaron) Rowell of Panama City, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Shane Turberville, Amanda Turberville, Carrie Anne Williamson, Jason Turberville, Brian Aaron, Laura Aaron, Bethany Rowell and Brandon Rowell; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers and sisters, Doris Jay of Uriah, Douglas Caylor of Uriah and Lavon Caylor of Atmore.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 2 at Southside Baptist Church with Dr. Wayne Cornelius officiating. Burial followed at Bay Minette Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Chuck Tolbert, Brian Aaron, Brandon Rowell, Shane Turberville, Jason Turberville and Jason Miller. Honorary pallbearers were David Little, Hannis Rider, Buddy Cooper, Winters Thomas and Roy Godwin.
