Tuberville office seeks nominations for final Veteran of the Month series

Posted

U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville's office is accepting nominations for the 2026 Veteran of the Month series, which will be the Alabama Republican's final installment of the program as a sitting senator.

The monthly recognition highlights Alabama veterans who continue to serve their communities in meaningful ways after military service, with a focus on individuals who may not have received previous public recognition. The series features profiles that showcase service histories and ongoing volunteer or civic involvement across the state.

Nominations are open to veterans from any branch of the armed forces who reside in Alabama. Submissions should include the veteran's name, hometown, branch of service, years served and a brief description of community involvement.

Entries may be sent to Hannah Eddins at Hannah_Eddins@tuberville.senate.gov or to Camille Anders at Camille_Anders@tuberville.senate.gov.
