Truth in Nature, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2009 in Dallas, Georgia, will expand its outdoor mentorship and ministry programs for fatherless boys to Loxley and surrounding communities beginning June 2026.

Per a news release, the new Loxley chapter is now accepting applications for both participants and mentors as the organization continues its growth to 30 locations across 13 states.

Truth in Nature focuses on serving boys from fatherless and single-parent homes through Christian-based outdoor mentorship. The program pairs participants with adult male mentors in structured, group-based monthly weekend outings centered on outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, archery and pioneer skills.

Organizers say the goal is to create consistent, long-term relationships that help build self-esteem, develop character and encourage faith in Christ while providing positive male role models within each boy’s local community.

“We’re honored to bring Truth in Nature’s mission to the Loxley area and to serve boys who need positive male role models,” said Ross Jones, program director, in the release. “Our programs provide adventure, mentorship, and a Christ-centered foundation — free of charge to families.”

Eligibility is limited to middle and high school-aged boys who come from fatherless or single-parent homes. All programming is offered free of charge upon completion and approval of the application process.

Families interested in enrolling participants and men interested in serving as mentors can contact Ross Jones, Program Director, at ross.jones@truthinnature.org or (334) 791-3472.
