Transmission technicians certified by International Trade Association

SPANISH FORT, Ala.—Advanced Transmission Inc., a locally owned and operated transmission shop, knows the constant demand to stay atop technology is imperative in the automotive industry. Continuing education gives the automotive technician the advantage needed to properly diagnose and repair today’s vehicles.

The owners and technicians of Advanced Transmission, Inc. in Spanish Fort have successfully passed ATRA’s certification exams in Las Vegas.

Owners, Marvin and Laura Wilson, along with the staff, traveled for the National ATRA Expo. The expo comprised four days of extensive training and certifications to which each person participated.

Certifications were awarded as follows: Marvin Wilson, rebuilder and chassis technician (renewal); Donnie Lanzer, rebuilder and diagnostician; Ollie Brazell, diagnostician and chassis technician (renewal); Ian Lazzari, diagnostician & chassis technician (renewal).
