Octavia F. Tolbert, born Dec. 15, 1934, a native of Baldwin County and resident of Bay Minette, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her father Dicen Louis Flowers; her mother, Edna Flowers and sister, Gayle Rasa.
Survivors include her husband, Willie Almon Tolbert; daughter, Diane (Floyd) Kittrell; three sons, Almond Wayne Tolbert, William Russell Tolbert and Barry Tolbert; three brothers, Dal B. (Mae) Flowers, Clifford Wayne (Judy) Flowers and Donnell (Verna) Flowers; three sisters, Pearl (Frank) Moorer, Freeder (Glen) Trawick and Nancy (Frank) Hall; seven grandchildren, Al (Tammy) Tolbert, Terris (Gayland) Hadley, Hillary Tolbert, Scott Tolbert, Neal (Crystal) Tolbert, Clint (Erin) Tolbert and Wesley (Barbie) Tolbert; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 20 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
Pallbearers were George Moorer, Donnell Flowers, Dewayne Flowers, Neal Tolbert, Clint Tolbert, Wes Tolbert, Rob Taylor and David Kelly.
Arrangements were made by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
