To Be crisis pregnancy center gets donation from local dentist

Deese Dentistry recently held a "Share the Love" contest among its Facebook patients and friends in order to encourage interaction on the social networking site and promote a charitable goal.  The winning participant in this friendly promotion was Karen Mullins.  By successfully encouraging the highest number of her Facebook Friends to vote for her and her cause, she easily claimed victory and secured a monetary donation for her favorite charity: To Be crisis pregnancy center.

“I’m glad that Karen embraced the spirit of our contest and encouraged so many people in her personal network to provide a way to support the amazing work that To Be offers women in need.  Encouraging our patients to tap into their online social network to promote good work in our community was really fun and gratifying,” commented Dr. Deese.

To Be offers counseling, free pregnancy testing and an educational and resource support system for women facing crisis pregnancies.  Open 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., M-F, they are located at 399 S. Section Street in Fairhope.  For more information call 251-928-8661 or visit www.tobefairhope.com.
