The Fairhope Volunteer Fire Department (FVFD) will hold a benefit concert on Sunday, Nov. 16, 4 to 8 p.m. at Oak Hollow Farms.

The concert will feature the popular band, The Tips Tops. Other local musical groups and DJs will play throughout the day.

Cost for advanced admission to the Tips Tops Concert is $10 and tickets are now on sale. Tickets at the gate will be $15. Tickets for the concert or barbecue dinners may be purchased in advance at Old Tyme Feed, the Fairhope Elks Lodge or the Fairhope VFW.

Barbecue plates will be sold from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for $6, or tickets for dinners may be purchased in advance from Carol Crittenden at the City warehouse or from Sherry Sullivan at the James P. Nix Center.

All proceeds from the concert and barbecue dinner sales will benefit FVFD member William Stanczak, who has been ill for the past six months, and Monica Hempfleng, wife for FVFD Fire Chief Kevin Hempfleng, who has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.

An account has been set-up at RBC for both Stanczak and Hempfleng. Anyone wishing to make donation may stop by any branch of RBC.

LifeSouth Blood Services will also be at Oak Hollow to host a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

For tickets or to make donations, folks may contact John Saraceno at 656-3380, or Jason Gandy at 379-3843.
