Timothy David “Mongo” Parker, 40, a native of Loxley and resident of Robertsdale, died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013.
Timmy loved his job. He was a crew chief at Baldwin EMC in Summerdale and an employee for 22 years.
He enjoyed hunting, and was the president of the River Run Hunting Club. He also enjoyed fishing, following NASCAR and SEC Football.
He was preceded in death by his father, Doug Parker; and brother, Douglas “Bubba” Parker.
He is survived by his wife, Danielle Parker; three daughters, Elizabeth Diane “Libby” Parker, Allison Marie Parker and Ashley Danielle Parker; mother, Alice Parker, all of Robertsdale; sister, Michelle Hughes of Loxley; three brothers, Rodney Parker of Crossroads, Steven Parker of Stapleton and Randy Parker of Robertsdale; and like-a-brother, Tiger Davis of Loxley.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, at 3 p.m., at Greenwood Bible Deliverance Church in Summerdale, with burial in Greenwood Bible Deliverance Church Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 1 until 3 p.m. at the church.
