Ruth Evelyn Martin Tillman, 92, died recently.
She was an advocate for the Fairhope Single Tax Colony, a Girl Scout leader, a librarian at the Fairhope First Baptist Church of Fairhope, a volunteer of the Heart Foundation, and an Eastern Star.
She was dearly loved by her community.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Joan Giovino and Victoria Armstrong, both of Fairhope; son, Stephen Tillman of Fairhope; and eight grandchildren, Roselee Mueller, Anthony Giovino Jr., Patricia Davis, John Giovino, Angela Ruth Giovino, Holly Tillman, Precilla Hataway and Wayne Hataway.
She will be laid to rest with her husband Ralph Tillman at the Fairhope Colony Cemetery.
Graveside services and burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 30 with lunch served by the Fairhope Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall (South Building) South Section Street at 11:30 a.m. after the graveside service.
