Fairhope, Ala. – Phantasy of the Arts this weekend brings one of Alabama’s up-and-coming bands to Fairhope.
St. Paul and the Broken Bones is the featured group at Saturday’s Phantasy festivities in the Fairhope Civic Center and adjoining grounds. The event is a major fundraiser for the Fairhope Educational Enrichment Foundation.
FEEF is a non-profit group that raises money to enhance arts and science offerings in schools. This is the 10th annual Phantasy of the Arts sponsored by the organization.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and the music begins at 8 p.m.
St. Paul and the Broken Bones is a Birmingham band often compared to the state’s award-winning Alabama Shakes. Nashville Scene magazine suggests that this might be the state’s next big success story.
Local entertainers Kyle & Karl will perform in the food tent outside of the Civic Center.
Phantasy is a night of food, drink, music and a digital graffiti display. Tickets for $100 are on sale in advance by calling (251) 990-3333 or from BrownPaperTickets.com. Admission at the door costs $125.
Sixty dollars of each ticket price is tax deductible.
