Mary Joanne Thompson, 78, a native of Montgomery and a resident of Foley, died Monday, May 17, 2010.
She was a member of Swift Presbyterian Church, and was active in Bridge Clubs in Foley and Orange Beach.
Survivors include her husband, John B. Thompson of Foley; son, John B. (Donna) Thompson Jr. of Newnan, Ga.; three daughters, Jessica Rene (Larry)_ Buehler of Angleton, Texas, Jennifer (James) Johnson of Foley and Jackie (Arte) Ferrell of Foley; two brothers, Marlin H. Anderson of Hopkinsville, Ky., and Charles Anderson of Birmingham; three sisters, Pat Magdalenski of Birmingham, Doris Johnson of Folkston, Ga., and Julia Andrews of Trussville; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Foley.
