There is magic in music: Frog Pond opens 16th season with Grayson Capps, singer/songwriters at Silverhill house concert

Frog Pond Sunday Social kicked off its 16th season and first concert of 2026 with a local songwriters showcase in Silverhill on Sunday, Feb. 22.

The Frog Pond, an intimate outdoor stage tucked beneath a 200-year-old cedar tree at Blue Moon Farm, is owned by Cathe Steele, former entertainment manager at Pirates Cove.

Sunday’s edition included three sets with three songwriters in each set. Grayson Capps, a close collaborator of Steele’s, Harrison McInnis, Emily Stuckey and Corky Hughes closed out the evening, with Matthew Jacquette, Johnny Hayes and Molly Thomas taking the second set and Troi Atkinson, Lauren Murphy Entertainer and Jay Megginson opening. Each set was supported by Gram Rae on the fiddle and Jon Cook on guitar.

These unique house concerts are not open to the public, and you must be on the guest list to attend, but if you want more information on how you can do that, email thefrogpondbluemoonfarm@gmail.com.
