Theodore Hobart Byram, 94, of Daphne, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014.

Mr. Byram was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army with the WWII European Theater, and had the honor of being awarded two Purple Hearts.

He loved to bowl so much that two weeks after suffering a stroke, at age 82, he still bowled a perfect score of 300.

He also had the very unique job of being a scientific glass blower, and he would make the instruments for scientific studies.

Preceding him in death was his daughter, Carole Hammacker.

He is survived by his daughter, Judith Ashton of Robertsdale; and two grandchildren, Andy (Brandi) Ashton of Robertsdale and Scott Snyder (Rachel) Sandy of Utah; and one great-grandson.
