Thelma Alice Volking, age 82, a native of Fairhope, and resident of Foley, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012.
She is survived by three sons, Hollis Volking of Mobile; Tommie Volking of Foley; Richard Volking of Foley; two daughters, Audrey Mattingly of Fairhope; Alice Wilson of Fairhope;13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, from 9:30–10:30 a.m., at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m., at Point Clear Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society at 900 Western American Circle, Suite 101, Mobile, AL 36609.
