Can’t decide where to eat? The Foley Optimist Club has the answer : presenting the 28 Annual Taste of South Baldwin on Thursday, Sept. 26 , from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Foley Civic Center. The theme for the evening is Football.
South Baldwin’s original tasting and sampling event features delicious gourmet selections from many of the area’s finest restaurants and vendors.
This year’s fine cuisine includes house specialties from Cain’s Piggly Wiggly, Cosmos Restaurant, Cobalt the Restaurant, Fish River Grill, Ivey’s Fine Dining, Jesse’s Restaurant, Katy’s Catering, LA BBQ & Catering, Lambert’s Café, Lucy B Goode, O’Charley’s, Original Oyster House, Papa Murphy’s Take N Bake Pizza, Peng Garden, Ruby Tuesday, SHMILY Tree Bakery Café, Stacy’s Drug Store, Sweet Home Farm Cheese, Zaxby’s and other great restaurants. Refreshing beverages are being provided by Budweiser-Busch, Buffalo Rock Pepsi and Coca-Cola.
In addition, there will be door prizes and a silent auction with items donated by local businesses and retailers.
This year’s event is sponsored by Citizens Bank, Riviera Utilities, Safety Coatings, American General, Agent Judy Porche, Citizens Bank, United Bank, Volkert Inc., Ebert Agency and Gulf Breeze Heating & Air.
Proceeds from this event benefit many activities for the youth of our community including the Charlie Boller Junior Optimist Club at Foley High School. Support a great cause and sample the best food in the county.
