Students at Bay Minette Intermediate School who read at least 2 books and passed the Accelerated Reader quizzes in February and March achieved first base status and received a free ticket to the April 14th Bay Bears baseball game. Students who read more books and passed quizzes received additional prizes. In all, 131 students qualified for a ticket.
